The Hancock City Council is being asked for a Resolution of Support for the proposed County Jail in central Houghton. Please pass the word to any Hancock residents that you know to get as many people as possible to attend this important meeting - Wednesday Aug 18. There is an opportunity at the beginning of the regular meeting (7:30pm) to address the Council and express your opposition to this project and to a Resolution of Support. The Justice Center committee will make a special presentation to the City Council at 6:30pm
Council Meeting this Wednesday August 18 in the Hancock City Hall Council Chambers and regularly begins at at 7:30 p.m - the Justice Center Committee is going to address the Council at 6:30pm for a special work session.
